The body goes where the mind takes it.

Our body does not think, it just responds to our thoughts. 

What we think actually creates who we become.

That is why GOD says,

 “take every thought, (every single one*) captive to the Word of GOD...”

so that we let out minds be held captive by GOD.

*To take every thought captive simply means; 

don’t let one thought, either good or bad,pass through your mind, without acknowledging 

and then determining the source from which it came.

2 Corinthians 10 :4-6 KJV declares:

“For the weapons (the water of the Word, and the sword of the Holy Spirit) 

of our warfare (created by what we believe and say) are not carnal 

(they are not about what happens to us in the natural) but are mighty through GOD 

(the Word that flows through us) to the pulling down (tearing down)

of strong holds (mindsets); Casting down imaginations

 (accusations and lies of the enemy), and every high thing 

(the enemy throws at us) that exalts (lifts up) itself against the knowledge of GOD

 (what we know about Him from His Word and through our relationship with Him)

 and bringing into captivity (focused capture) every thought

 (every single one of them) to the obedience of Christ 

(the obedience that Jesus lived before the FATHER where Christ now lives through us)."

God spoke these words to me when He said,

 “Pay attention to where your thoughts come from, and then decide if they are from Me or from the enemy, because what you think will always originate from one source or the other.”

When our thoughts oppose GOD, they can feel so right, if we go by our feelings. 

If we accept those feelings as true indicators of what is real, 

even when GOD says in His Word it is a lie, we are opposing GOD and deceiving ourselves.

Our past decisions about what we believe, what we have been programmed to think, 

and which kingdom we have been allowing to speak to us,

 will determine our perception. 

Even our own thoughts can be the enemy’s thoughts 

that we have accepted as truth. It is only GOD’S thoughts that merit our attention.

When we allow the mind of Christ to be formed in us, 

GOD will destroy the works of the enemy in our lives. 

When we think correctly, GOD will respond to His Word in us.

And I love this scripture that says, "GOD’s word

 will not return void but accomplish that for which He sent it…" 

We are experiencing right now what we agreed with years ago. 

When we change our thoughts, we change the outcome of our life.

The enemy doesn’t know what we are thinking 

but our body and soul does. Our own well-being is determined 

by how we process what we think about and believe. 

What the enemy has tempted us with and we have agreed with will eventually 

produce disease or mental problems.

GOD’s thoughts will produce health and healing long term.

As we meditate on what we think about, if it is not GOD thoughts,

 the thought goes from temptation to sin. When we agree with GOD, 

at this level and ponder His Words, remove the wrong patterns of thinking, 

we are in a place of immunity to evil. 

The door of access is denied to the place of the enemy’s involvement in our lives. 

This is what GOD means when He says give no place to the devil.

It will require effort on your part, at first to create new behavior. 

Once it becomes a habit, you will do it automatically. 

The old pathways of thought where memory travels will be replaced 

with another road to redirect our destination. The less we travel the old ways of thinking, the sooner they begin to die out. 

They actually no longer exist in our thinking. 

Our mind is being renewed and so are we. God says in the Bible 

that our words are stout against Him. He reminds us of this because, 

He wants us to agree with Him and stop opposing ourselves.

2 Timothy 2:24-25 KJV

“And the servant of the LORD must not strive (even with ourselves);

 but be gentle unto all men (including ourselves), apt to teach, be patient, in meekness instructing those who oppose themselves…” We oppose ourselves when what we think and act upon what opposes GOD and what He says about us.

Malachi 3:13-14 KJV

“Your words (your own words you speak) have been stout (strong) against Me,

saith the LORD. Yet ye say, what have we spoken so much (a lot) against Thee?” 

(GOD is referring to the thoughts that become words that we have harbored in our mind,

 that eventually are spoken forth that does not agree with GOD).

The Bible says, out of the heart the mouth speaks. (what we allow to remain in our heart will eventually come out our mouth as words that create. Words are containers for power that create for GOD or for your enemy. Spoken words don’t just go away. They remain as seed sown and produce a harvest that is either beneficial or destructive to our lives.

“Ye have said it is vain to serve GOD (vain to GOD means when we speak the opposite of what GOD says and then say that we have obeyed Him) and what profit is it (to us) that we have kept His ordinances?” Obedience comes from a surrendered heart with right motives…GOD is forever looking at our heart which yields true obedience.

It reminds me of the story of the little boy who was sitting down and refused to get up when ask to stand, but finally did and replies, “I am standing on the outside but sitting on the inside.” We would think because he stood, he obeyed, but in his heart, he was in rebellion, not obedience. And think about King Saul. He did the opposite of what GOD told him, but yet he said to Samuel, the prophet, I have done what GOD said when he had not.

Deception from the enemy will have us believe one thing and do another, thinking we have obeyed GOD when we have not. But the more obedient we actually are to GOD, the easier it is to recognize GOD’s instructions and be obedient the next time.

The remaining part of the scripture says, “And having a readiness (willingness) to revenge (destroy and set aside all deception) all disobedience (by being obedient), when your obedience is fulfilled (you decide to just obey…it is a choice).” In other words, we set aside disobedience when we simple obey GOD… 2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV

Obedience and repentance always are the forerunner of break through, then when we apply what we speak, and speak what we believe…all of heaven and earth moves to meet you and help you agree with what God says about your situation so you can overcome it.

GOD wants us to go through the process (with Him) dispel all disobedience, and overcome so we know how to break free from strongholds in the future. The Bible says those that overcome, will rule and reign with Him. We can practice now, by looking at our test and trials as opportunities. We can experience becoming what GOD wants us to be with each trial we face. He is with us to enable us to do all things in His strength, and with the mind of Christ.

Reading and studying the Word of GOD and entering into relationship with Him is a gift made available from GOD to know how to live and experience life in abundance.

Then we can experience peace, health and wholeness; spirit, soul and body. The enemy only needs one foot in the crack of the door of our thoughts so 

he can create a mindset that opposes GOD in us.

So, what are we thinking? It is very important we think like GOD thinks, in a way that GOD can bless us and bring us into His plans and purposes that are eternal.
