THANKFULNESS

Make a joyful noise
to the Lord, all the earth
Serve the Lord with gladness
Come into His presence with singing
Know that the Lord, He is GOD

It is He who made us, and we are His
we are the sheep of His pasture
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise

Give thanks to Him
and bless His name
For the Lord is good
 His steadfast love
endures forever
and His faithfulness
to all generations

THANKFULNESS IS THE
BEGINNING OF PRAISE
GRATITUDE IS
THE DOOR TO WORSHIP
GOD IS SEARCHING
THE WHOLE EARTH
 FOR WORSHIPERS TO WORSHIP
BREAK STRONGHOLDS AND
BRING YOU INTO HIS PRESENCE

ENTER IN...

GRATITUDE IS AN ATTITUDE

GRATTITUDE IS ALSO A SIMILITUDE…

a resemblance, a likeness, a model or pattern that represent God’s structure we should

use to build and repair our lives to obtain His likeness and form. (Strong’s Hebrew 8403 and 1129)

BUT GRATTITUDE IS ALSO AN ATTITUDE.. that unlocks the fullness of life.

By being part of the Family of God,

we have a blessed opportunity to share in the lives of each other…

to build up and help repair and strengthen one another.

GRATITUDE IN EXPRESSIONS OF WORSHIP

Worship is a heartfelt desire to know GOD as we offer up to Him love, adoration, and

gratefulness in oneness with His very person.

Worship cannot be separated from our body in how we express exaltations to GOD.

To allow GOD to live through us the highest form on NT worship.

To present our body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to GOD… is worship.

Old Testament worship differs for New Testament worship in that the sacrifice is different.

No longer animals, Jesus was the one-time, all sufficient sacrifice.

Now we are to be the example of sacrificial worship in the same way

that Jesus became worship to His FATHER.

WORSHIP IS A WAY OF KNOWING GOD

WHEN WE WORSHIP WE ARE KNOWN OF GOD...

and we enter into His presence.

New testament worship is different from Old Testament worship in that it conveys an added meaning.

The Holy Spirit enables us to worship with more passion and in the way we were created to relate to God.

Jesus said there would come a time and that the time was now...

that we would worship the FATHER in spirit and in truth. He also said the FATHER seeks such as these to worship Him.

Old testament believers did not have the Holy Spirit worshiping from within their innermost being

or spirit as to bow to God from the inside. Our innermost being is where living water flows

out of our spirit back to GOD... the One who gave it.

Before Jesus became the way to the FATHER,

the OT saints could bow, kneel, even pay obeisance and reverence the name of GOD,

but it was an outward expression only rather than an inward surrender.
