Don’t focus on evil and then try to defeat it. 

Our focus should always remain on God.

Always overcome evil with good. 

We will always be victorious when we keep our focus on the One that has won every battle.

That’s why the Bible says, the battle is the LORD’S. 

We need to remind ourselves we are not trying to defeat Satan’s kingdom and win the war.

The war has already been won. We are just reminding Satan he’s defeated. 

Then we just check on him, 

making sure he doesn’t trespass and close all doors of access to Him.

It’s in our weakness, GOD’s strength is made perfect.

But what is the Bible's  definition for being weak?

It is simply acknowledging to GOD apart form Him we are weak.

There is no one that exist that does not fall into the category of being weak…male or female.

We are all weak compared to what we can experience in His strength.

Compared to GOD, no one is strong.

It is just those that believe they are strong that GOD can not show up on their behalf .

If we believe we are strong…we will never experience GOD’s strength.

But because I am weak (recognize my weakness) I can be made strong in Him. 

God doesn’t leave us in a weakened state…but we will not every truly be strong apart from Him.

GOD encourages us to be strong and not let our hands be weak.

This commandment is only understood when we realize

 strength  is found only in God Himself.

When I use the word weak, I don’t mean being a weakling…

but rather what it is like to not experience the strength of GOD.

Being without God’s strength or without the strength that only God can provide, 

is always a form of weakness.

We may not realize weakness in ourselves or acknowledge it when all is going well…

But circumstances will reveal moments

 where we experience a weakness we cannot overcome without GOD's intervention.

Most of the time we are  always wanting to appear to be strong…or believe we are. 

But it is when we offer our weakness to God, He will show  Himself strong on our behalf

.

God will not manifest His strength in a way so we can experience His power

until we recognize and depend on Him...But Why?

Because I am refusing to admit that I have need Him at this level.

But it is in the area of my weakness…

He could have been my strength.

If because unconsciously I would not let Him be strong in me... therefore

I cannot receive what I didn’t admit I needed. 

We do this without being aware we do it…and we do it all the time….

No one likes to admit they are weak…but God says

it’s in our weakness…His strength is made perfect ...

David is a great example…

David said to God…You are my strength.

David knew it was God in him…winning the battle for him.

David knew God had secured the battle before the battle was ever fought.

We have to do the same…

David learned that it wasn’t the strength that God would just give him…

but God himself would be His strength.

It’s a place of total surrender to God.

a total surrender of your own strength…which will not be easy.

To surrender is not passive. Try it…just try surrendering to God…see if you can.

Easier said than done.

There will be something in you that will fight the very idea

 of needing anything or anybody…. at that level...including needing GOD. 

Even as children we are born with independence of GOD …

A child will say, if you try to show them or tell them how to do something…I do it myself. 

We’re still trying to bring something to God we did ourselves…so we can get His approval

It’s like we’re saying, see God…I did it, aren’t you proud of me?

And God is saying…hay and stubble. 

I will not except what I did not orchestrate and bring to pass.

God wants us to be totally dependent on Him.

And I am realizing this  is the only way to live,  where we are alive unto GOD.

He is amazing, and amazing in so many ways that I want to know Him in all of them...

Why not let your strength be GOD….

All power belongs to GOD….and there is not power apart from Him.

When we surrender our feeble attempt to prove we can be strong…

we experience a strength that is unshakable….
