GRATITUDE IS AN ATTITUDE

GRATTITUDE IS ALSO A SIMILITUDE…

a resemblance, a likeness, a model or pattern that represent GOD’s structure we should

use to build and repair our lives to obtain His likeness and form. (Strong’s Hebrew 8403 and 1129)

BUT GRATTITUDE IS ALSO AN ATTITUDE... that unlocks the fullness of life.

By being part of the Family of GOD, we have a blessed opportunity to share in the lives of each other… to build up and help repair and strengthen one another.

We can do all things with a gracious heart toward GOD.

We can also share principles in GOD’S Word with people that don’t know GOD

that will leave them forever changed, just by our being gracious to them.

Because part of GOD’S nature is to be gracious,

our relationship with Him  inspires us to be grateful to others.

We can focus on what GOD has done for us, rather than the offense that was done to us.

Gratitude is a way to overcome anger and bitterness, not to mention self-pity.

It shifts the focus from ourselves to others and to GOD'S goodness.

Gratitude forms a place in our spirit for reverencing GOD with our heart and it is coming from appreciation for Who He is in our lives.

To reverence GOD is to fear Him and the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10 KJV

When we truly fear GOD,  we will not fear anything else. When we bow in reverence to GOD

we will not bow in torment to the enemy.

Psalms 103:8- 12

"The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins: nor rewarded us according to out iniquities…For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed

our transgressions from us."

All anger and bitterness can be traced back to how we view life.

If we look at life through gratitude, offenses, wounds, and the way other people respond to us, takes on a different way of being seen in the light of everything GOD has done for us…

When we have gratitude in our heart, we will share the love GOD has deposited in us

so it will be easy to give it away.

.

When it comes to forgiveness, we should never say…

How can I forgive them for what they did?... but rather

How can I not forgive anyone based on what GOD has done …for me?

Always look to see the other side…

there are two sides to everything…the one we know and the one we don’t.

Being grateful makes it easy to forgive and embrace the good.

Gratefulness will replace your anger with a heart of joy.

The Bible  instructs us not to let the sun go down on our anger…

Ephesians 4:26 and Psalm 4:8

When we go to sleep our mind is passive.

If we are not willing to forgive the person that we are angry with…

we will not have peace and our sleep will not be sweet.

Proverbs 3:24 KJV and Psalms 4:8KJV

Our sleep will be impaired by an open door that gives legal access from the enemy to give us thoughts that magnify the offense.

Often when we awake in the morning,

we will be angrier than we were when we went to bed the night before!

It is a simple thing to forgive. We make it complicated when we put requirements on our willingness to do what GOD tells us to do…

But to the degree we forgive others is the degree we will be ourselves forgiven.

When we stop opposing ourselves

we will be less likely to oppose others by retaining the sin that GOD would have us remit.

Sins remitted are remitted (removed and released) …

Sins retained are retained… (retained in our bodies often as sickness and disease)

John 20:3 KJV

Whosoevers sins ye remit…they are remitted unto them;

and whosoever sins ye retain…they are retained.

Develop a lifestyle of gratitude towards GOD.

Be mindful of how great a salvation GOD has offered you.

View life through the lens of forgiveness.

Let go of whatever was never intended to begin with…and embrace all GOD has for you.

Our relationship with GOD is hampered, and hearing His voice is often not perceivable,

when we refuse to forgive.

May our heart soar with the right attitude and become a higher altitude of worship
offered to GOD with gratitude for everything He does.

His provision is more than what we could ever hope,

dream or imagine when our life is one of obedience to His will.

Being grateful and forgiving others, including ourselves,

is definitely the will of GOD in Christ Jesus for you…and for us all.
