GRATITUDE IN EXPRESSIONS OF WORSHIP

Worship is a heartfelt desire to know GOD as we offer up to Him love, adoration, and

gratefulness in oneness with His very person.

Worship cannot be separated from our body in how we express exaltations to GOD.

To allow GOD to live through us the highest form on NT worship.

To present our body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to GOD… is worship.

Old Testament worship differs for New Testament worship in that the sacrifice is different.

No longer animals, Jesus was the one-time, all sufficient sacrifice.

Now we are to be the example of sacrificial worship in the same way

that Jesus became worship to His FATHER.

Jesus, by presenting His body a living sacrifice, became the sacrificial lamb of GOD.

Jesus died, was resurrected by His FATHER  through the Holy Spirit,

then arose and was filled with new life He received from His FATHER.

His new resurrection body is alive forever more

as a reminder, so we will be alive unto the FATHER  in the same way through worship.

Because we died with Christ, we are now  able to live in Christ.  Galatians 2:20 ESV

Our bodies are an extension of the sacrifice to the FATHER that was made possible  by Jesus.

We can continue to  worship the FATHER by what Jesus began,

by presenting our bodies to GOD as a living sacrifice unto Him.

We are to be conformed in living, and if need be in dying to whatever hinders GOD’s life from flowing out of us to others and back to the FATHER as worship.

Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to GOD, which is your’ true and proper worship.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –

His good, pleasing, and perfect will."

Actually, the KJV the scripture says the words “reasonable service.”

The word service is Strong’s G2999, i.e. Worship.

GOD the FATHER said, speaking of Jesus…I have prepared a body for you.  Hebrews 10:5 KJV

This means that the FATHER  prepared a body for Jesus He would offer back to His FATHER.

Jesus became the Lamb of GOD as  a testimony to all of us

for His impassioned love of His FATHER.

Everything Jesus did came out of the incredible Love He shared with His FATHER.

The FATHER’s desire for more children is why Jesus died.

We had to be restored and redeemed  before we could come into His presence.

We can enter in only by the blood of the Lamb.  Hebrews 10:19 KJV

His blood is sufficient that  we can receive and give His love to others...

GOD is Love, and we will only know true love as it is revealed through His Son. I John 4:7-21 ESV

We can now  become a part of this huge desire of the FATHER to have many, many  children.

.

Jesus’ love enabled us to worship because it was sacrificial.

I can worship GOD the FATHER  now because Jesus did it before me and cleared the path.

Jesus thought it worthwhile...

and ever so important,  to be the door we can walk through that allows access

to our Heavenly FATHER for all eternity.

No one walks through the door except through the body and blood  of Jesus.

He is the door.John 10:7 KJV

Jesus  came to show us the FATHER.   John 14:8-21 AMP

and then make it all possible for us to receive our FATHER's love.

Worship is giving everything about yourself to Him…in complete adoration.

We give back to GOD everything we are, and everything we are not in humility.

I Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, who you have received from GOD? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.

Therefore, honor GOD with your bodies.

Making GOD apart of everything we do is worship.

Worship is a life lived for GOD.  It is a lifestyle of ascribing all worth and value as derived from giving GOD all that we are,  in exchange for Who He is…

Worship is not something we do. it is a state of being.

Worship is about relationship and love and adoring the One we have chosen to be surrendered.

Worship is accepting God’s invitation to be restored back to relationship of the garden so that our fellowship is complete and can be an individual expression of worship to our creator and FATHER.

Jesus expressed worship inJohn 14:23-24

"Yet a time is coming and is now come, when true worshippers will worship the FATHER in Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the FATHER seeks.

God is Spirit, and His worshippers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

Worship should be our first priority.

Worship should be a whole-hearted commitment to GOD the FATHER that is an extension of the life of Christ extended through us and given back to GOD in the Spirit.

Those that worship shall worship …spirit to Spirit.

We are only connected to one another as the family of GOD,

when we are connected through the Holy Spirit.

It is the Spirit of Worship, the Holy Spirit, that will worship through us

that is true worship the Father seeks.

To be lost in worship is simply to become one with GOD in true fellowship together

When we loose track of time and worship in the Spirit, it is as though

we are seated in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 KJV

When we worship, and we remain seated in Christ, we are able to look down at the enemy,

where He is under our feet, instead of walking in the midst of the battlefield.

We are then in a place of immunity to the enemy...

as long as we choose to let GOD live through us

and the kingdom of the enemy be defeated in our thoughts and  our body.

God will protect, provide for, be the provision of and perform through us

His perfect will as long as our minds are stayed on Him. Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Yielding to GOD is not passive…

it will take everything in you to give up the right to yourself…so He can.

But it is a place where you are living in the kingdom now…

and He is your source of everything you need.
