GOD said to me one time,

 “What would you do if I asked you to give Me three apples?” 

And realizing it was GOD speaking to me, 

I became quiet and just listened to Him. 

Then GOD said to me, 

“I will tell you what you would do; 

you would just go and get me three apples.” 

And I responded, 

“Yes, to the best of my ability, that is what I would do.” 

Then I realized I was just offering GOD  my ability 

and I was not acknowledging it is through His ability in us 

that we can produce what GOD really requires of us. 

And I instantly understood there are so many times 

we try to do things for GOD 

instead of letting GOD do what He wants to accomplish 

in and through us. 

Then He said to me, 

“How would you know which apples I would want you to give to Me?

 You may go and get three red apples,

 when I wanted one red, one green, and one yellow.” 

Then He said to me, 

“If I ask you for three apples, 

ask Me to give you what I am asking you to give back to Me.

 It is only My ability in you that can bring forth what I require of you.” 

He said, “That is what Jesus did. 

He received everything He spoke and did from Me. 

He was totally dependent on Me for everything.

Jesus responded and yielded to Me in the way 

of a dependent child. 

Jesus lived His life completely given to My will.

Jesus said, “Apart from My FATHER I can do nothing.

 I only do what I see My FATHER do.” 

John 5:30, John 5:19 KJV 

Since this was true of Jesus, 

how much more should it be true for us. 

We can depend on GOD through the Holy Spirit 

in the same way Jesus lived...
