BEING PLIABLE

IN HIS HANDS

"Jeremiah received the
LORD's word: Go down
[going down is
a place of humility]
to the potter's house and I will

give you instructions
about what to do there
[obedience always comes
before instructions]

Jeremiah 18:1-2 KJV

OBEYING GOD  ENABLES YOU
TO BE READY TO DO HIS WILL
It is Suffering that
produces obedience
Jesus even said...
I learned obedience
through what I suffered

BEING PLIABLE IN HIS HANDS

ARE YOU ON THE POTTER’S WHEEL?

If you belong to God…you are always in His hand.

The below words were written in the Old Testament to those that called Abraham father.

They were calling on the name of God

not realizing it was the pre-incarnate LORD they were addressing.

Isaiah 64:8 KJV

“But now LORD [LORD God, pre-incarnate Christ], you are our Father.

We are the clay, and you are our potter;

and we all are the work of your hand…"

Jesus is the Father of creation.

Jesus came into His creation so we could look at Him and see the FATHER.

Jesus the Word created mankind in His image,  before He ever became Jesus the man.

Jesus was fulfilling the FATHER’s will for more children long before we ever existed in the natural.

Jesus came into creation to show the FATHER heart of GOD and to make it all possible.

Jesus died in our place so that we could know and could have access to the love of the FATHER.

"GOD the FATHER, is the FATHER of all…including Jesus.

Jesus is the written and spoken Word of GOD and He is the Son of GOD.

Jesus is a Father too, the Father of creation.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of both, the FATHER and the Son.”

Quote from the book,

“ABBA FATHER MY GREAT I AM”

Jesus is still the Potter. He is still shaping and reshaping  us according to the FATHER’s will.

He is saying the same thing in the scriptures today that He did in the Old Testament.

He is working out everything according to the FATHER’s will.

And we can say with confidence, As I remain moldable on the Potter’s Wheel…

He will complete that which concerns me.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ…”

Philippians 1:6 KJV

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

Philippians 2:13 KJV

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves.”

2 Corinthians 4:7

We need to remain on the Potter’s Wheel more so today than ever.

And because of the Holy Spirit, the results obtained are able to flow directly from  GOD

and not from ourselves.

Grace is the LORD influencing our heart to let Him mold us and make us

into who the FATHER wants us to become.

There is an interesting thing about clay. It is always something God can use.

He used it to form Adam from the dust.

And when He puts us on Potter’s wheel, we are clay in His hands.

The question is, are we pliable inwardly? … as we feel the pressures outwardly.

If we will cooperate with GOD and allow Him to make changes in us,

we will see the changes He makes bear outward  fruit in our lives.

It is a painful process,  but oh so worth it.

The pain flows from His reshaping us inwardly through suffering.

God removes and refashions us as He so desires…which always involves suffering

.

In order for the caterpillar to become the butterfly and then the eagle, there are many

metamorphosis that must take place.  We must learn to  fly above the fray and alone with God...

and at the same time,  remain in relationship with others.

The butterfly spreads his wings and  he flies here and there...

always ready to experience the next flower.

The eagle soars and looks down at the battle...and rises above it.

God called Abraham alone....before He released Him to the many.

There is a time in the wilderness [the desert] that is unavoidable.

But when you look back you will see that even though it may have been a dry place,

the presence of God was there.  Its's a place where  nothing wears out,

everything you need is provided

and water comes out of the Rock [Christ Himself].

He is preparing  you so  that you will be ready for anything and everything... come what may,

and it involves suffering to get there.

Jesus said if we are not willing to suffer, we have no part in Him.

2 Timothy 2:12 KJV

There is a baptism of Fire [sanctification], the baptism of the Holy Spirit [an infilling

and release of the Holy Spirit],  and the baptism of Water [being baptized into His death].

and a baptism into the body of Christ [ we are baptized into each other as His body].

There is also a baptism of Suffering, which means afflictions and trials like Jesus endured.

Jesus asked his disciples and the sons of Zebedee,

“Can ye drink of the baptism that I drink of,

And can ye be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?’

Mark 10:38-39 KJV

Jesus also said. “I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened [unable to fully complete the Father’s will] till it be accomplished!”

Luke12:50 KJV

“Therefore, I endure all things for the elect’s sake,

that they may also obtain the salvation which is Christ Jesus  with eternal glory.

[Salvation is also a person...] Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."

I am the door to everything, salvation,  and the FATHER  Himself.

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with Him

[having died to self so that now to live is Christ] , we shall also live with Him

[experience His resurrection life in us now.. and in eternity].

If we suffer [with Him and for Him],we shall also reign with Him:

if we deny Him [in suffering and need be in dying], He will also deny us.”

2 Timothy 2:10-12 KJV

It is through much suffering that we can be molded into a vessel God Himself can freely inhabit.

Not a vessel reshaped outwardly alone, but a transformation from the inside out.

The transformation is actually the transition of  being prepared and made ready.

Christ can then rule and reign in us now... as He prepares to reign though us later.

It is Christ in you that is making you look like Himself outwardly to the world.

God wants to look at you and see His own reflection,

not in appearance only,

but the actual life of the indwelling Christ.

And it is not Jesus alone, or the Holy Spirt by Himself,

but the Father also, that will indwell us with their presence.

They will actually make their home in us.

This is what we were created for...

John 14:23 KJV

“Jesus answered and said unto him,

if any man [anyone] love me, he will keep My words [obey them]:

And My FATHER will love Him,

and We will come unto him, and make Our abode [home] with him.”

He wants to be your hands, your feet,

and to speak the very words that come out of your mouth.

Oh…if we would

“Speak the Word Only…”

And

“Only Believe”

What might God do through us…

God likens us to clay.

He also compares us to gold that is imperfected, that He wants to purify.

When the impurities are removed, we can then be a true reflection of the LORD.

When He looks at us, then He will see Himself.

I know that is my heart’s desire, and what I want Him to see when He looks at me.

I want the Father to have many children…all the reflect Jesus.

This is not about us being this or that….

I am not talking about introspecting, and looking at ourselves and trying to do it better or

working on ourselves to be a better person.

“There is no one good but God…”

Mark 10:18 KJV

The popular words we often hear people repeat that says...What would Jesus do?

still does not give us the solution to our dilemma of how to make it happen.

Even if we know what He would do, and by knowing,  we could be acceptable to GOD…

it would still require us to relinquish our idea about how we would do it.

God the Holy Spirit has to be the one doing it through us.

Sometimes it is not knowing, but allowing, that needs to take place.

God knows everything...we don't need to know...we need the one who does know.

We need to allow Him the freedom to do His will, as we cooperate with Him and watch Him…

Often because we have the Holy Spirit inside of us,

We think that everything we do that is good is always  God.

Maybe or maybe not

Let us not forget that Satan loves to show up in the church as an angel of light through people.
Satan will not deceive us by being evil... but good.

Remember the tree that Adam and Eve was not supposed to eat from

was the tree of the knowledge of ... good and evil.

A good question to always let God answer is....

Did God ask you to do this or was it birthed from wanting to do it for Him?

The key is not my will [what I want] but your will be done.

Do we stop and ask ourselves …Am I doing His will in this situation? and with the right motives?

I think about the words of Paul,

“LORD… what would you have me to do?”

Acts 9:1-6 KJV

We need to just surrender. Stop trying to figure it out and stop trying to do it…:0)

Whatever He would do …we can’t do… even if we knew what it was that He wanted us to do.

And know that this seeking His will is not a passive state at all…

It is an active, exciting place of flowing in His Spirit and being one with His heart.

It is sitting on the edge of you chair

waiting for the LORD to say go now…open you mouth…I will fill it.

I have everything prepared in advance…so when you show up …

you are not ahead of me or behind me…you are right where you should be.

God might say to you…

Can I let you be the one I speak through to create, and heal, and show myself to others?

I have made all the preparations…will you just “Follow Me…?”

Let me respond through you. And you will know what I meant when I said…

I don’t do anything except what I see the Father do.

I am still watching My FATHER to see what He will do today…

and you can watch me the same way as I watch Him…

and I will show you what the Father wants to accomplish …. through you.

The Holy Spirit can then show up in power because you are doing the LORD’s prayer…

May Your will [the FATHER’S will] be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Remember…Our idea may not be at all what He had in mind.

There are many ways to accomplish something. All of them are different.

We may be on “Let’s do it Street” and Jesus in on “Follow Me Street,”

We will only know His will as we are in the same place that He is in.

This requires time to seek Him, much prayer, and learning

to know His heart and developing an ear to hear His instructions .

It is about a surrendered life that lets Christ live through you,

doing in you, what you cannot do apart from Him.

Oh yes, we can all do something for God, and we all have…especially me.

But the question we need to ask ourselves,

Is what we are doing really letting God do it His way verses our way?

If not, it is hay and stubble.

It will have not eternal value.

We will pass through the fire but our works will be burned up.

We are all in the process of being changed on the Potter’s wheel and under construction.

God is working in our lives and presenting many opportunities for change .

We may see them or we may not.  We may participate or we may choose otherwise.

If we do not cooperate with God in the areas that He is working on our behalf,

it may cause us to remain on the Potter’s wheel where God keeps removing and adding

…even longer than God intended!

Maybe we have not been molded on the Potter's wheel enough in a particular area…

before God leaves one area to move to the next.

God will always be creating a masterpiece that is not yet finished.

The good news, and the not so good news is,  God will always be

finishing what He began in us...now and forever.

God is always presenting Himself to us, awaiting our choice.

We are always spinning on the Potter Wheel of God.

God wants us in motion....it is in the motion is where we are changed.

Cooperation with God can make life go a whole lot smoother.

There is always a process of purification, before the gold God is after is revealed.

The process involves refining and the removal the dross

that will always float to the surface, at some point...usually at the worse time.

It can be removed my God, if we let Him

or the impurities can create a bondage where Satan can have access to us.

Think about how you want GOD to know you, and how you will be known for all eternity.

This is our moment in time to be all God created for us to be.

Embrace the changes God has for you.

Stay on God’s wheel.

God want us to shine as a bright light to others.

God is light and there is not darkness in Him… 1 John 1:5KJV

"If we are in Him"…He shines through us. His light is the glow people see on your face.

"If Christ is in us"...we will accomplish much.

It is His refection that shines like a beacon in the darkness.

Are you going to be a star that shines in the firmament…just for Him?

Daniel 12:3 KJV

“Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven,

And those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”
