CHRIST LIFE IN YOU IS INDESTRUCTABLE

HE IS THE ONLY LIFE WORTH LIVING...

Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Jesus is the only true Life that is worth pursuing.

If we are born again, He is the resurrection Life in you and me.

There is an indestructible Life that can flow out of us where we can truly say,

it is I that no longer lives but it is Christ that is living His Life in me.

Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live,

 but Christ lives in me.

The life I now live in the body,

I live by faith in the Son of God,

who loved me and gave himself for me.”

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the FATHER and the SON.

The Spirit of Christ living through us, in complete control of us,

is the only viable Life there is and His Life in us is an indestructible life.

Jesus said in the garden of Gethsemane,

My life is swallowed up in sorrow to the point of death.

This was Jesus speaking about what

He would be experiencing through on the cross on our behalf

and by doing the will of His FATHER to open the door

for us to know GOD as our FATHER too.

Jesus just didn’t die for mine and your sins

He swallowed our death and took the consequences for our sin,

the consequences of sin being the death

we would have suffered had He not taken our place.

Jesus gave His life for ours so we could have life eternal in Him.

Christ is life and everything that doesn’t come through Him

and that does not originate in Him is a form of death...

Our old nature produces death and it must pass

(through Christ) before our life can be resurrected (in Christ).

Only the Life of Christ produces Life more abundantly in us.

Anything and everything else that involves our eternal significance is either a matter of life or death. God says choose life.. Choose Him.

So how do we choose to die to everything but Christ?

Dying is letting go of what we want to control.

The first thing we want to do in our old nature is to fix everything

that concerns us and do ourselves what we want to accomplish ...

FOR Him .... on His behalf, without His accomplishing it THROUGH

 us which produces death.

Unless it is Christ doing the work in and through us,

the results will become hay and stubble

which is another way of saying it is the flesh which is unacceptable to GOD.

It is a matter of recognizing in situations

our tendency to react in a way to control the outcome.

Then we give control to the Holy Spirit by recognizing

He is the only One that knows everything about every situation

and the One that is perfectly able to determine

the the solution to whatever it is we need without our take on the situation.

It is all about control and who is in control and who we will allow to have control.

It’s the old nature from Adam and Eve that wants to be God...

that is where control originated in the choices of Adam and Eve.

Since then we have inherited that nature that’s why it’s so hard to give it up.

It is when we know He is God... He really is,

and that He is sufficient and we are not,

that we are willing to allow Him to give to us what it is we need,

rather than us determining what that looks like and going after it ourselves.

When we die (put aside) what we think we should do

and we let God be God,

there is a transcendent life that emerges

within your own being that lets you know God is in control of you.

The Amplified Bible defines the flesh as

sense and reason without the Holy Spirit

to lead and guide our actions and thoughts.

The reason letting go of our own will is not so simple to do

is that it is too simple just to be dependent on GOD like a child.

It removes our opinions, right to ourselves, and embraces GOD’S decisions instead.

The conflict is when are not willing to simply

allow GOD to have the complete control of us

by just obeying and doing what Christ did when he came to show us the FATHER.

Jesus  said, “I don’t do anything except for what I see the Father do”

and He did not allow Himself to have another opinion other than His FATHER’S.

GOD made it simple to hear and obey

when we choose to obey out of our love for Him.

Even though the provision for the new has been made,

we still want to choose the old.

It is a matter of giving Him our will where the flesh prefers

 to hold onto control instead.

We will to do something by first choosing it

and then not changing our mind about what we have decided.

It is always just a choice.

We give it to Him and then we leave it with Him and we don’t take it back.

We have to loose our grip on it so that He can retain it.

It is so simple it’s profound but it comes down to,

do we trust Him enough to give Him control of who we are,

or do we want to keep control and really be our own god.

This is really a Satanic principal when we choose

to control instead of giving that control to GOD.

I can tell you from experience that when we give Him control it establishes us in a place of being vulnerable and we feel very insecure in ourselves

because self is what we have been used to depending on.

But when we let go and depend on God that’s where our true strength comes from.

The old insufficient self can die in Christ and

Christ can live in us ...it’s a process of learning to let go

and truly live in everything God has for us.

Jesus took the consequences our sin which is death so that we could live in Him...

So we could have the mind of Christ; His thoughts, His riches and His wisdom.

Isaiah 25:8

He will (if we allow Him) swallow up death

(our old life here and now and our old nature) in victory (over the flesh);

and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces;

and the rebuke of his people shall He take away from off all the earth:

for the LORD hath spoken it.

GOD will wipe away our tears in Heaven

but He wants to wipe away the tears from our faces here and now,

before eternity, before there is regret of seeing what we missed,

if we allow him to do that now.

The reason there are tears here and now is because

it is when we realize our insufficiency to be who we know we can be

and we want to be the one that completes

what only He can do that brings tears to our eyes.

It is hard to give up control because we want to do it

or at least receive credit for taking part in it

by being independent from within ourselves instead of relinquishing

the right to what only God has the authority to accomplish in our lives.

I am not talking about a passive state

where we wait on God to do everything or something, not at all.

What I’m talking about will require everything in you

that’s not passive to be able to do it

because we want to choose and do things

our own way and to let go of that is never passivity.

That old saying, let go and let God definitely has validity.

I know I am challenged in my own life to let go of things

that I so desperately want to hold onto.

But I can also tell you those things that I have let go of

and where He is in charge,

there is a blessing and a peace and a place in God that’s indescribable and…

It’s for all of us. He died so that we could all live the Life He paid the price to give us.

So FATHER I pray

a simple prayer for all of us that want to experience

this amazing Life of Christ available to us now.

A place where You can live Your life through us..

where we will never again have this opportunity

to experience here on earth in bodies of clay

this amazing once in a lifetime opportunity to know You this way...

Enable us in the power of the Holy Spirit with the fervor

and in the hunger to know You to desire to live this life more abundantly,

that is found only in You...

In the mighty name of Jesus.

 Amen
